Uppercut Gym will host a clinic for new and continuing boxing coaches and officials on Saturday, January 15th. The coaches clinic will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m., and is required for anyone who wants to coach an amateur fighter in competition.

The officials clinic will follow from (approximately) 1:30-5 p.m. New amateur boxing officials (clerks, judges, referees, and timekeepers) are always needed and welcomed, and it’s a great way to learn more about the sport.  Plus, you’ve always got a ringside seat!

All coaches and officials are required by USA Boxing to attend a clinic at least once every two years for re-certification.  This is a great opportunity to get your coach or official credentials in order through 2012!
